Pending attorney review. This page describes how Nash Hat works today. It is not a final legal opinion.
English is the controlling version. House rules live in [Community](/community).
Nash Hat can point you to a public room. It cannot sit with you, walk you home, or promise that a person is safe. You run the night. The city has staffed rooms, street light, and 911. Use them.
Background screenings
NASH HAT DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS OF ITS MEMBERS. An ID check confirms age and that you are the person on the ID. It is not a criminal background screening.
Meeting tips
Meet in a public, staffed room. Tell a friend where you are going and when you plan to leave. Get yourself there and back. Keep your own ride.
Do not share your address, workplace, or hotel. Do not send money. Leave when you want. If a plan moves to a private place, that is your call, not ours.
Report and block
On a profile you can hide, block, or report. A report asks why. We may hide the profile from you, close Dating, or close the account. We do not promise a public outcome.
You can also write hello@martori.studio with the handle and what happened. If someone is in danger now, skip the form and call 911.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 in the United States. For a mental-health crisis, 988 is the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Nash Hat is not emergency services.
How ID verification works
Dating is 21 and older. Friends and Company do not ask for ID. If you start the check, Didit photographs your ID and takes a selfie. We keep a yes or no and the date it was confirmed. A Verified mark is not a criminal-record check.
Read the Privacy Policy before you tap I agree.
What verified means
Nash Hat does not run criminal background checks.
Verified means one thing: an ID checked by Didit and a live selfie that matched it. It does not mean we know the person, vouch for them, or have checked their history.
Intimate images shared without consent
If an intimate image of you is on Nash Hat without your consent, use the takedown form. You do not need an account. We aim to remove it within 48 hours, and we keep the report even after a chat closes.
Law-enforcement contact
Non-emergency law-enforcement mail: SanctuaryApp, Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as Nash Hat, 1401 3rd Ave, Suite 516, Nashville, TN 37208.
